Neurons are like honey comb and not like elephant herds when it comes to evolution :

Hi Friends,
Last time, I wrote about an article which briefly introduces to stress, which we face in day to day life.

This post is about Brain homeostasis. Well, What is Brain homeostasis?
Actually let me explain it with an analogy. If a system say computers for example does multiple functions and constantly can upgrade itself and evolve from the problems say virus, hackers, spyware etc without being instructed to or few CSc people breaking their heads to solve computers problem, what will happen???
We can call those computers to be "smart ones", but unfortunately it loses the originality and ends up as highly evolved system and becomes mad... I mean the system here when it gets evolved gets debased.
That's why, system needs a back up like a restore point . Such is our brain. Our brain evolves from each and every situation it faces and neurons constantly upgrade themselves. This is Brain homeostasis. This can be either functionally as in high cognitive aspects or in general energy balance. Balancing the functions of every corner of brain is a challenging task like neuronal firing done for nutrients distribution, process tally, voluntary tasks and involuntary tasks, memory, cognition, perception done by ... ahhhh..
Neurons work together when it comes to balancing things and they individually can't balance themselves is what this study (link below) tells us.
Neurons are like honey comb.  Honey bees work together and if you by chance kill the queen bee.. the whole system gets collapsed even though the individual worker bees are still alive. Why not like elephant herds? In elephant herds, they work collectively but if one goes astray the whole elephant herd still goes on doing the same job the individual elephant has to take care of itself and adopt to the situation.  Researchers say, individual neurons cannot adopt when left astray to restore homeostasis..

This energy balance/ homeostasis is very important to handle stress. If group of neurons can only do it then it is important to understand that stress is a serious threat. Billions cells die and gets replenished but a group of cells which loses how to balance and does not regenerate to restore balance, don't you think you are inviting serious trouble which is the straight gateway for Alzheimer's and other big problem.. So Friends, identify this micro problem and try to find approachable solution...
Healthy life is important than famous or ambitious life. This should be our motto friends.. cheers!!!
